LinkedIn"I Would Be Like Jesus" is a Gospel song of dedication, originally published as part of the “Hymns in Harmony” series, written by James Boersma for church/school orchestra. This arrangement can be played by various size groups and is challenging enough to be enjoyed by all ages. The time-honored music is refreshing and it gives your instrumental people a great opportunity to minister and contribute as part of the church service. As one music director once said of the "Hymns in Harmony" series, “There’s never been anything like it, before nor since.”
This arrangement has been edited from the original by Paul Hiscock and re-published exclusively by Shepherd’s Staff Ministries.
NOTE: Permission is granted to the original download purchaser to make extra copies of parts as needed.
I WOULD BE LIKE JESUS
Earthly pleasures vainly call me;
I would be like Jesus;
Nothing worldly shall enthrall me;
I would be like Jesus.
Refrain
Be like Jesus, this my song,
In the home and in the throng;
Be like Jesus all day long!
I would be like Jesus.
