LinkedIn"He Lives" is dramatic Gospel song arrangement of the risen Saviour, originally published as part of the “Hymns in Harmony” series, written by James Boersma for church/school orchestra. This arrangement can be played by various size groups and is challenging enough to be enjoyed by all ages. The time-honored music is refreshing and it gives your instrumental people a great opportunity to minister and contribute as part of the church service. As one music director once said of the "Hymns in Harmony" series, “There’s never been anything like it, before nor since.”
This arrangement has been edited from the original by Paul Hiscock and re-published exclusively by Shepherd’s Staff Ministries.
NOTE: Permission is granted to the original download purchaser to make extra copies of parts as needed.
HE LIVES
I serve a risen Saviour, He's in the world today;
I know that He is living, Whatever men may say;
I see His hand of mercy, I hear His voice of cheer,
And just the time I need Him, He's always near.
Refrain
He lives, He lives, Christ Jesus lives today!
He walks with me and talks with me
Along life's narrow way,
He lives, he lives, Salvation to impart!
You ask me how I know He lives!
He lives within my heart.
